Can you set a porta potty at a Lake Bowen house for a weekend party?
A Lake Bowen house party of 50 guests for 4 hours needs 1 standard porta potty. Lake lots often slope toward the water, so the unit should sit on a flat spot near the road or driveway. We drop the unit Friday and pick it up Monday, which also covers a rain date.
Lake houses near Inman bring two problems: steep yards and septic systems sized for one household, not a crowd. A porta potty keeps party traffic out of the house and off the tank.
- Near the driveway, not the dock: the truck must park within about 30 feet of the unit.
- A hand wash station by the grill: guests rinse off without walking inside.
- Shade in July: the average high is 90.1°F, and heat speeds up odor.

Do Harvest Day Festival vendors in downtown Inman need their own porta potty?
The Harvest Day Festival runs the last Saturday in September at 20 S Main St in downtown Inman, and the 2025 festival was the 44th. The Greater Inman Area Chamber and the City of Inman run it. Vendors and sponsors should ask the chamber about restroom plans before ordering any unit.
Details of the Harvest Day Festival come from the organizers, so check with them first. Food vendors also have a separate state rule. The SC Department of Agriculture temporary food service fact sheet calls for a handwashing sink with hot and cold water under pressure, soap and towels.
Our hand wash stations run cold water only. That means our stations do not meet the hot-water rule for a food booth. Our stations do work well beside toilets for guests and volunteers.
Harvest Day falls on a Saturday, so units drop Friday and return Monday. Street spots must be approved by organizers, never left blocking Main Street. Our hand wash station rental page covers sizes and refills.
What do builders in Inman subdivisions need for a job site toilet?
A home builder in an Inman subdivision needs 1 standard porta potty for a crew of 20 or fewer under OSHA rules. We suggest 1 unit per 10 workers. The unit renews every 28 days with weekly service included, so a 6-month build needs no long contract.
We serve builders in Inman neighborhoods such as Ashton Ridge, Bella Woods, Bishop Commons and Cobblestone. Inman sits near I-26, I-85, SC 292 and US 176, so job site trucks reach most lots on main roads.
- No address yet? Send the subdivision name, lot number and a map pin.
- Several houses at once? Each lot can have its own unit on one account.

Porta potty questions from Inman renters
Can you deliver to a Lake Bowen house on a Saturday morning?
Saturday deliveries run when you book ahead or call by 12 noon that day. For a Saturday party, a Friday drop is the safer choice, and the price is the same as a one-day event. The unit stays through Monday, so a Sunday rain date is covered.
How much is a porta potty for a Harvest Day booth or an Inman street event?
A standard event unit starts at $225, including delivery and pickup, plus SC sales tax. A hand wash station starts at $225 for the event. Confirm the spot with the festival organizers first, since street placement must be approved.
Our septic can't handle 60 guests at the lake. What should we rent?
Sixty guests over a 5-hour party need 2 standard porta potties under our planning method of 1 unit per 40 guests for 5 to 8 hours. Add 1 more unit if alcohol is served. Put 1 hand wash station near the food so guests stay out of the house.
Do builders in Carramore or Bent River get weekly service?
Every job site unit in Inman gets one service visit each week. The tech pumps the tank, scrubs the inside, adds deodorizer and restocks paper and sanitizer. Service falls on the same weekday as delivery, and you can ask for a different day.
